Curriclum
The discipline of nursing seeks out a scientific and theoretical basis for the practice of nursing, public health nursing, and nurse-midwifery. Students systematically learn the basics of nursing practice during our four-year curriculum.
Our undergraduate program consists of classes on nursing, subjects related to nursing, and the liberal arts and sciences. Nursing classes teach students basic nursing knowledge. Nursing-related classes help develop multidisciplinary knowledge. Liberal arts and sciences classes foster a broader perspective for independent nursing practice.

Curriculum structure and features
Students learn in stages. First- and second-year students primarily study the nursing and nursing-related subjects that form the basis of the nursing profession. In their third and fourth years, they learn nursing through practice in clinical settings and work a their graduate research project of their choosing. They then head back to the classroom to study more liberal arts and science.
