The Goals of Education

The college's objective is to educate nursing professionals to have a basic knowledge and skills of human caring necessary for nursing practice. Furthermore, nurses are required to have the accountability to solve nursing problems, and always be able to practice creative problem-solving activities.

The students will:
1) have the ability to practice as a generalist with the basic knowledge and skills necessary for nursing practice.
2) develop a deep understanding of human beings regarding their daily life, and improve their judgment skills.
3) have the ability to understand and support essential problem-solving capacities of the clients and their family and local communities.
4) have the ability to cooperate with other professionals in health, medical care, and welfare arenas, with people living in the local area, and with people related to the patient's care.
5) develop a basic knowledge of nursing research in order to improve nursing practice through practicing nursing.
The baccalaureate program provides a firm base of knowledge and skills needed to perform the above-mentioned functions.
